Burns Night beckons

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind?

Burns night is almost upon us and Scotland has a brand new Museum to celebrate the National Bard.

If you haven’t already bought your haggis and are looking for somewhere to enjoy the night then here are some of our favourites.

London

Enjoy a flavour of the Auld Alliance at My Dining Room in Fulham

Go the whole hog with a meal, ceilidh and piper at Albanach that little corner of an English town that is forever Scottish.

The Crusting Pipe in Covent Garden is holding a traditional 4-course feast to celebrate the life of poet Robert Burns. The Haggis will be piped in at 8pm with a live poetry recital, followed by coffee and nip of whisky (only £32.50!)

Edinburgh

Stac Polly, one our favourite Edinburgh restaurants with three choices of venue in the city have a special Burns Night Menu on the 25th.

Celebrate Burns Night with a traditional supper at The Bistro followed by a less traditional play in the Brunton Theatre

If poetry and the like is not really your thing then enjoy a burns themed meal at WHISKI Bar and Restaurant
